Kioko: Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Kioko Night, AKA: Lady Hex, and I somehow managed to get myself stuck as the muse of a hyperactive dragon girl with too much imagination and a keyboard. To the Realms I am an infamous witch, but to you I am nothing more than the picture you see here. Be thankful it's all you're getting and that you'll never see the real me in person. I did not become known as Lady Hex for no reason, after all. Of course, I'm also not stupid enough to violate my parole by interacting with what you would call 'the REAL world'. I suppose the only reason I'm not in jail right now is because I've found myself surgically joined at the hip with a certain dragon girl and for once her refusal to let me so much as take a freak'n vacation without her served a purpose. Cosmic Law isn't stupid enough to go making an enemy out of the Dragon King's daughter, even if she is about as intimidating as a lady bug.
Rhea: COOKIES!!! YUM!!!
Kioko: I rest my case. Now I know dragons are suppose to be powerfully magical beings, and the higher breeds like Rhea that are powerful enough to take on human shapes are suppose to be master magic-users, but this girl can ruin a simple light spell and turn it into a bushel of cherries without any idea how she did it. I've tried teaching her, gods know I've done my best, though saying I'm not the most patient woman in the world would be the understatement of the century, but this girl...(Sigh), at least her brother's got the skills, not that we see him very often, and I'm not about to divulge any secrets to HIM. But I owe it to Rhea to try. She has gotten me out of several scrapes in the past, and in spite of our opposing personalities, she is my friend...sort of. I suppose a muse has to be friendly with their charge, if only out of necessity. She's not a bad writer, not the greatest by far, but it could definitely be worse. I could have been stuck as Chuck Lore's muse.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
